FAQ's

What if I am running a fall race that takes place before the program concludes?
Absolutely! If your race is before 10/12/2025, please let us know and we will get you your training plan before the kickoff on 6/23/2025 so that you can get started appropriately.

How will the information be distributed?
Each athlete will be given a calendar with their training plan and electronic access to nutrition education.​
In addition, during our monthly video calls, we will discuss timely topics related to the phase of your training.

What are the pre-requisites as a runner to participate?
If you are new to the half/marathon distance, or have run this distance once or more, this program applies to you!
However, we ask that you have a minimum current mileage base of 7 weekly miles for the half marathon & 15 weekly miles for the marathon.

This program also applies to any level of experience with nutrition coaching.

What if I can’t make the monthly calls?
We understand that everyone has multiple demands on their calendars. In the event you cannot make a monthly call, they will be recorded for you to view at your convenience.

What content will be covered for nutrition?
Daily fueling patterns, hydration and electrolyte needs, pre-, during and post-run fueling, race day fueling, carb loading, peak week, taper nutrition, micronutrients, supplements and post-race recovery.

Do I have to live in Ohio to participate?
Nope! This program is completely virtual, so you can be located anywhere.
